Poem: I Salute my mother

"I salute my mother"

Though many may wonder, ponder the claim!
We are true to our hearts, they can't disclaim!

Yes!
Even for the poet who cries!
Even for the crooked who wries!
Hard to find words many a times,
to pierce the silence within, to utter the love akin!

Echoes the memory beautiful moments!
Umpteen to say and umpteen to pay!

The care you bestowed, the dare you chiselled, isn't obscure!
Down in the memory, deep in the heart, it is ever secure!

Feels so proud you gave us the birth!
Profound in heart gallops the mirth!

Growing in your arms, and at your behest
The lessons you taught never to forget!

Makes to feel good, from the childhood
helps to feel light! with all delight!

Ocean of life is abound in joy,
beyond the boundaries, beyond the limits...

Abandon the unholy 'fall', grace burgeons to 'rise'!
Shut, Shun the unlawful night, days bound to be bright!

With a tinch of bother and a clinch of soother!
We salute you mother, "The resolute mother"!
